This unique Artificial Venus Flytrap makes for a realistic looking artificial plant, added to your Reptile Habitat or Snake Cage Habitat. Hand designed, handcrafted, artificial reptile habitat plant design is approximately 7 inches high & 9 inches wide. Plant is ideal for a reptile habitat or as a Snake Cage Plant. The low profile black plastic base is square and measures 2.5 inches per side. Weighted (w/ black river rock) black plastic base; included.

The black plastic base contains black river rock to provide weight and stability to the designs. Each base contains about 15+ small sized river rocks, each one individually hand picked and positioned. The base construction is secure and there aren’t any sharp rock edges.

You can also “plant it” in your favorite container. Makes a great, no-care what so ever, home decor cactus succulent plant!

Slight color variances in the plant are possible by lighting type.

Plant should not be placed directly under a heat lamp, near heat source and or submerged in water.

The 2021 Venus Flytrap product pieces featured a plum purple color detailing in and around the blooms (the trap). The 2022 product pieces have had a dye-lot change (by the manufacture) from the Plum Purple to something closer to a Red for the detailing (as show in this revised listing). The dye-lot changes are also visible on the blooms, the 2021 vs. 2022. The coloring is now a little more transparent which allows more light to pass through them when placed under an over head light. Without the overhead lighting, the blooms appear not as transparent in color depth. There was no mention of these color changes by the manufacture at the time I placed my order.

Instructions: Wipe leaves off with a dry cloth / dry paintbrush to clean. Place in the habitat enclosure and cover the plant base with your substrate.
