I’m Ron of Ron Beck Designs and I hand design-hand craft artificial aquarium decor plants, reptile plants and snake habitat plants.The plant designs are well crafted, life like and made of either plastic or silk. I use non toxic products and re-purpose plastic elements within the design structure.

This design also features two, hand made trunks, using reptile safe fir bark (made from a natural source). The end result is an appealing and realistic wood trunk.

Instructions: Rinse in warm water before use. Place in the habitat enclosure and cover the plant base with your substrate.
Design Tip: Make the view angle pleasant and natural by putting taller plants towards the back and shorter plants up front.

Pictured above on the left, is a Bush Fan Palm that I recently designed for a snake keeper in Florida. The plant on the right is a similar plant from National Geographic’s silk reptile plant line, available at PetSmart.

Fir Bark Trunk

One of the design elements that you don’t often see in the pictures, is the plants trunk. Many of the silk reptile plant designs that I create feature a hand made, fir bark trunk. The fir bark pieces are made from a renewable natural source and are safe for all reptiles. Each trunk takes about one hour to make. The trunk adds another unique and realistic piece to my original designs.

See the plant design product details for further information. The height of the trunk varies by design is determined by the individual design. Each trunk takes about one hour to make as each piece is hand picked and crafted. This trunk style design can be available as an add on to the most of the plants design special orders | additional $2.99 per trunk.

The fir bark cannot be submerged in water and or have water sprayed onto it. If the fir bark becomes soaked with water, it will begin to separate.
