WHO’S HOUSE IS IT?
The majority of my artificial plant designs have multiple uses. Many of the artificial plant designs work well in either a Reptile Terrarium Habitat or as a Home Decor artificial plant.
The Big Box store prices for most artificial plants are often over priced. Once purchased, you are stuck with the plant and container style (the pot it was glued into), forever. In some cases I guess a quick shot of spray paint might do depending on the materials originally used.
Styles change so switching their pot out isn’t always an option.
My Artificial Plant Designs are all attached to a low profile weighted base. Most plant bases are just a few inches in width and can easily fit into a variety of containers or pots. Some size limitations may apply by design. See the designs product description for further details.
To change out a container is now, real easy and doable! Simply place the design into the new, updated style container and cover it with your substrate.

I’m always on the hunt for New Artificial Plant Types and materials.
I’m also very particular of the products quality and realistic appeal. I also have to consider how might it be used within a reptile, aquarium or home environment. More often than not, I have to choose to reject many artificial plant stems because they’re “just not right” for my designs. Fake doesn’t have to look cheap.
But sometimes, I am fortunate to find some really nice new plant varieties! From now on, when ever I introduce a new plant variety into the design collection, you’ll see the ‘New Plant Type‘ announcement featured on the new designs product image. This will apply to any new varieties that have been created for the very first time.
The New Plant Varieties will start to become available, beginning in November 2021. Some of the new varieties will also allow me to design plants that are 12 – 16 inches tall, perfect for a slightly larger reptile terrarium. Finding realistic looking taller artificial plants isn’t always easy.

Because of the ongoing supply chain issues, I have to postpone production / designing the new miniature desktop landscape gardens. There are key design elements for both varieties that I am currently unable to get. Therefore, the Miniature Desktop Gardens will hopefully be available early 2022.

This unique, hand designed handcrafted, Artificial Japanese Grass Plant brings a realistic looking artificial plant to your Aquarium, Reptile Habitat Enclosure or Snake Cage Habitat.
Sometimes, all you want is just one simple plant and this Artificial Japanese Grass is a great candidate. You can also purchase a few and spread them throughout the tank for a minimal, uniformed look.
This design is 4 inches high and 4 inches wide, on a weighted base using aquarium safe gravel. The low profile black plastic base is also food safe. Grass strands are semi soft therefore no fin tares to worry about. Plant is ideal for a Freshwater Aquarium, Turtle Tank, Reptile Habitat or as a Snake Cage Plant.
The black plastic base contains river rock to provide weight and stability to the designs. Base contains about 15+ small sized river rocks, each one individually hand picked and positioned. The base construction is secure and there aren’t any sharp rock edges.
Slight color variances in the plant are possible by lighting type. Plant should not be placed directly under a heat lamp and or near heat source.

Eucalyptus conferruminata: Eucalyptus from the Greek, meaning “well-covered,” referring to the fused lid over the flower before it opens (called an operculum); conferruminata meaning “joined together,” referring to the seed pods being fused together in clusters.
Commonly known as Bushy Yate, is a eucalypt in the myrtle family Myrtaceae endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. It is a small tree with an oval, spreading form and dense foliage which sometimes reaches to the ground.

If it weren’t for all the great reviews and continued support of so many pet keepers from all over the world, I would not have had the pleasure of these past fifteen years. I am fortunate to have been able to continue creating and designing artificial plants for freshwater aquariums and reptile terrarium habitats.
I am truly grateful to have those patrons, many of which are repeat customers!
In keeping with the Reptile theme, I am happy to announce a new design line of Miniature Reptile Micro Gardens. The new artificial gardens will feature miniature Reptiles (Gecko’s, Komodo Dragons and Chameleons) and Snakes, nestled in a natural looking scene of greenery, sand and lava rocks. The Micro gardens will fit nicely on a tabletop or desktop along with adding a little green to your space!
The base of the Miniature Reptile Micro Gardens will either be a miniature wood pallet or a low profile round dish. I’ll also be using pieces of slate, both as a base and or as part of the Micro Garden itself.
And for the fish keepers, there will also be Miniature Aquatic Micro Gardens which will feature a variety of fish and marine life with greenery or coral. There will also be one original design that features a unique water element with miniature Koi fish!
The Micro Garden designs should be available by summer’s end 2021.
